Additional Services

• The Wellness Program is available to all patients, but is not required or mandatory. Since many, if not all, of the items in the program are not typically covered by insurance, there is an additional annual fee assessed (call office for details) which is intended to cover the costs of these non-covered services. If you decide to leave the practice, you will be receive a refund for the unused whole months. The fee is for the program only and NOT intended to cover the costs of medical care (such costs are either covered by your insurance plan or are your responsibility, with copays and deductibles applying as usual).
• Dr. Purser will be using a state-of-the-art electronic medical record that is web-based. Members who choose to use this system to view their own records are given secure access, which will allow those members to participate in their own health record. You may access and update certain elements of your history, check your medications, request refills or appointments, and check on your health maintenance schedule. If you travel, a web-based medical record may prove useful in having access to your record while away from home. For non-urgent routine questions, you can e-mail Dr. Purser or staff directly rather than leaving phone messages. (Keep in mind that email is ONLY appropriate for non-urgent issues).
• A brief, "get aquainted visit" is available to potential patients as time allows.
